It's already Halloween season over at GoodHousekeeping.com, so I got to spend most of June remembering the movies that gave me chills as a kid. I've read that the ability to be entertained by something scary is genetic — and I've definitely got that gene. (I think my daughter has it, too, since she's loved The Nightmare Before Christmas since she was 2.)
